So, this is what Josh wrote...I'm still confused!
Just a glimpse into our crazy and wonderful life together!
I have always loved the 4th of July. The flag stirs something in me that I cannot describe. Even though our great nation is in the middle of some extremely hard times, the flag gives me hope. I can't describe it - I guess it's the patriot in me. Today as we sang "The Star Spangled Banner" in church, I almost made it through the whole song without crying...! It brought many things to my remembrance, not just those who have fought for my freedom, but I thought of those who allowed me to have such freedom in coming to this great nation. I am the great-granddaughter of immigrants and I am so thankful for all that they endured so that I might have better opportunities here in this land. I have a rich American heritage and I am so very blessed to be able to be here.Have you seen this?? I just took the time to watch it and was so touched by the amazing courage and wonderful eternal perspective of this phenomenal sister. Wow! If I could just have an ounce of her positive outlook, I would be so grateful!
