So, this is what Josh wrote...I'm still confused!

For our 3rd anniversary, we re-created our first date and went to the Macaroni Grill and to see Transformers.  It was so great!

Josh is the greatest guy ever (in my opinion) and somehow he thinks that it is so wonderful to be a grump.  Our niece, Hannah, even gave him and Oscar the Grouch shirt that he LOVES!  So, when his birthday rolled around, he wanted an Oscar cake.  This is what I created.  It was AWESOME (if I do say so myself)!!

Oh, dear...I've been missing in action!! Oops!

Well, I have no excuse for being a "bad blogger" other than life just gets in the way. There simply aren't enough hours in the day! I've been crazy busy with work and trying to survive in the hectic world we live in. But, we are doing well. We do have a few additions since my last post...Josh convinced me that we needed another Bengal cat since Tater now lives in Montana with his dad. Meet Tarzan! I have to admit, this kitty might make me a cat-lover!

Ranch!!

Well, I finally lost my last baby tooth today! Yay!! Now I know the joy of every 6 year old...I'm just a little behind schedule! And, I'm SUPER glad that it wasn't my Ranch Tooth!! LOL!!

Stars and Stripes

I have always loved the 4th of July. The flag stirs something in me that I cannot describe. Even though our great nation is in the middle of some extremely hard times, the flag gives me hope. I can't describe it - I guess it's the patriot in me. Today as we sang "The Star Spangled Banner" in church, I almost made it through the whole song without crying...! It brought many things to my remembrance, not just those who have fought for my freedom, but I thought of those who allowed me to have such freedom in coming to this great nation. I am the great-granddaughter of immigrants and I am so thankful for all that they endured so that I might have better opportunities here in this land. I have a rich American heritage and I am so very blessed to be able to be here.

My New Life

Have you seen this?? I just took the time to watch it and was so touched by the amazing courage and wonderful eternal perspective of this phenomenal sister. Wow! If I could just have an ounce of her positive outlook, I would be so grateful!
